Love Marriage or Arranged Marriage via Predictive Astrology

In Predictive Astrology, we have a way of determining if a person will have an arranged marriage or a love marriage. Apart from that, we can also find out if you will be happy with the marriage or you will feel distressed at the time of marriage.

If you have not read these articles, you can read them later because to check compatibility & nature of the person you are going to marry actually requires the birth chart of that person but you will know whether you are going to have a love marriage or an arranged marriage through your birth chart only. Also, you can have a glimpse through your birth chart about how will be your married life but exact conclusions can only be drawn when we have charts of both, the girl & the boy.

Steps involved to see if you are going to have a love marriage or not:
  1. Check the planet whose Main Time Period (Maha Dasha) is in operation.
  2. Note the houses signified by that planet using the Rules of Stellar Astrology.
  3. Find out if that planet is providing you with love and marriage.
Love Marriage = Love + Marriage
Therefore, we need to see the combinations of love and marriage in the chart to see if love marriage is possible.

Marriage: 2, 7 & 11
Love: 5 8 OR 5 12 OR 5 8 12
Love Marriage: 2 5 7 8 11 12

This is the complete combination of love marriage. If the planet whose main time period is in operation is signifying this combination while being positive for marriage (read the above-mentioned articles to find out) then the person can expect love marriage in the current time period. Otherwise, check the next time period for love marriage.


If the current Main time period is only providing you the marriage while other planets have the combinations of love marriage then you can have love marriage in the Sub-Time periods of those planets.

Love is actually quite complicated. There is always a possibility of breakups, cheating and have multiple affairs, there are different combinations to figure that out but we are not covering that in this article. If a person does not has those combinations & has strong moral values (which can be seen in the chart) then he/she is not going to break up or cheat or sleep with multiple partners.

Happiness at the Time of Marriage

A person will feel happy at the time of marriage if he is marrying the type of person he always desired for or he is marrying the person he loved. Therefore, we need to figure out the Main, Sub & Sub-Sub Time period to see if the person will be (or was) happy at the time of marriage. The sub-sub Time period is actually very important especially when the main & sub period lords do not indicate anything.

Happiness: 1 5 9 11
Distress: 1 2 6 8 12

This is the complete combination & the level of happiness or distress will reduce if the complete combination is not present. First house will only increase the effect of houses it is conjoined with and it has no role in actually providing the happiness or distress.

Example 1: Love Marriage with Happiness

Planet: 2 5 9
            8 11
            2 7 9 11

This person will not only have Love Marriage but there is a possibility of gaining huge sums of money (assets) through the partner at the time of marriage.

Example 2: Love with No Marriage

Planet: 2 5 9
            1 8 10
            1 5 9

Marriage will not happen but this person will have a romantic relationship during this period and he will be very happy.

In the above examples, the results were explained based upon the Main Time period (Maha Dasha) only, however, if the other planets are troublesome then the person is going to face problems in different Sub Time periods and if the majority of planets signify the combinations indicated in example one, then the person will surely have love marriage & will live happily thereafter.
