Reality Behind Yearly, Monthly & Daily Predictions

People read about their daily predictions (Rashifal) each day with excitement. Sometimes things match sometimes they don’t.

So, the thing we need to know is does it really works or not?

The answer is yes & no.

First, let’s talk about yearly predictions.

We know that Jupiter takes one year to move from one zodiac sign to another. So, a yearly prediction depends upon which house Jupiter is transiting.

Suppose, for a Sagittarius ascendant Jupiter transits through Virgo; so, Jupiter signifies 10th house, and aspects 4th house (7th aspect), 2nd house (5th aspect) and 6th house (9th aspect).

This means that events regarding family (2nd house), property/vehicle (4th house), job (6th house) & status (10th house) may happen during this year. Also, houses 2, 6, 10 & 11 gives financial happiness, so, we may say that people with Sagittarius ascendant may have plenty of money during this year or there will not be any deficiency of money to them in this year.

You may get some property, rental income through property or promotion in job. Similarly, other events will happen when Jupiter will transit through other houses.

Second, monthly predictions.

Sun takes a month to move from one sign to another. Therefore, monthly predictions are based upon the transit of Sun or the zodiac sign through which Sun is transiting.

Suppose, for Gemini ascendant Aries Sun transiting through 11th house and aspects 5th house. Meaning, this month will be good for relationship with other people, family and children and you will get gain (11th house) from speculative business (5th house) like stock market or gambling.

Finally, daily predictions.

Daily predictions depends upon this Star through which moon transits. Moon stays in one nakshatra for almost a day. Depending upon who is the lord of that nakshatra people get different results.

Suppose, for aries ascendant Moon transits through 4th house, hence it signifies 4th and 10th house. Nakshatra through which Moon goes is Pushya, lord of Star is Saturn. Let’s say Saturn is in 11th house.

Combined significations of Moon and Saturn will be 4th, 10th, and 11th. So, people with aries ascendant may have an issue regarding property, career or gain of income. One may also win over other if he is going to face a competition.


Now, this is common sense, there are around 7 billion people on this planet. Approximately, 600 million people per zodiac sign. Not everyone will face exactly same thing at same day. Why this difference comes? Because of Dasha they go through. Let’s, forget the zodiac sign I gave in previous examples and just see house significations.

Jupiter Signifying: 2, 4, 6, 10
Sun Signifying:      5, 11
Moon Signifying:  4, 10, 11

One may win (6, 10, 11) a fancy dress (5th house) competition on this day.

But usually we don’t take more than one fast moving planet (Moon, Sun, Venus, Mercury) in predicting a specific event because in transit, they cross each other again and again which makes it difficult to specify a date. So, taking only Jupiter and Sun is sufficient for the sake of convenience.

Generally, Jupiter is for yearly, Sun is for monthly and Moon is for daily predictions.

But time periods should signify the event for the transit of planets to work.
