Significations of Moon in Astrology

Moon being Queen also represents the government and if Moon is well placed one can get a Government Job if Moon dasha is in operation or Moon is aspecting the planet whose dasha one is going through. A well placed Moon gives a person well developed bones, teeth & muscles and a beautiful flawless skin. In Ayurveda, we have three types of nature: fiery (pitta), earthy (Kapha) & airy (Vata). Earthy nature is a combination of water & earthy element. Moon being of watery nature is well placed gives a balanced Kapha. Due to which a person’s body is well developed & bodily fluids works perfectly fine.
Moon is mother & Queen; it is a luminary which reflects light coming from then Sun. Moon nourishes plants through its light at night & affects the tidal waves in ocean. Sun is the creator of life then Moon is the protector of that life. Moon is called mother because a mother protects child from the outside environment & nourishes the child & Moon protects us from meteorites coming from space. We have seen craters on Moon’s surface.

Moon is our mind; Moon is the fastest moving planet (considered a planet & not a satellite in Astrology) & it is continuously changing its zodiac sign & phases.
